Instacart is Available Throughout Indio for the First Time Ever — Kale Yeah!
Coachella and Stagecoach attendees can now get groceries and alcohol delivered straight to their doors in as fast as an hour.
With Coachella and Stagecoach mere weeks away, festival-goers across the country are busy prepping their outfits, creating personalized lineups with friends, and planning their food and drink for the weekend.
Luckily for this year’s attendees, Instacart is now — for the first time — available throughout the entirety of Indio.
Anyone who’s been to a festival (or even just a weekend away with friends) has experienced the thankless task of coordinating the group’s food and drink for the weekend. No one has room for a cooler in the car, it’s easy to forget essential ingredients (what’s a margarita without limes?), and everyone has über-specific requests and dietary requirements. Not to mention that waiting in line for groceries instead of hanging with your friends that first night is a serious downer.
With Instacart’s recent expansion throughout all of Indio, festival-goers can spend more time lounging poolside and experiencing the festival, without having to worry about taking time out of their weekend to stock up on fresh groceries, liquor, beer and wine.
Here are two ways festival-goers can take advantage of Instacart:
- Create a group cart in the Instacart app so that housemates can add their favorite items to one virtual cart. Gone are the days of coordinating grocery lists to make sure the kitchen is fully stocked for breakfast, pool cocktails, and late-night snacks.
- Get groceries delivered in as fast as an hour from your fave stores. There’s nothing worse than running out of tortilla chips, beer or rosé mid-morning on day three of the festival. Instacart’s marketplace includes national grocers and specialty stores throughout Indio, such as BevMo!, Ralphs, Sprouts Farmers Market, Stater Bros, Gelson’s Market and Albertsons, so you can get exactly what you need and want before anyone in the house even realizes it’s missing.
Cooking meals at home can significantly lower the weekend budget for the group, and Instacart’s convenience doesn’t add to the cost. Customers who haven’t tried Instacart before can sign up and get a 14-day free trial of Instacart’s Express membership, which provides them with free delivery on any order that is $35 or more.
Sunshine, good music and great friends are the perfect ingredients for an amazing weekend. With Instacart’s expanded availability, festival lovers can save time to focus on making memories that matter.
